Easat

Website: www.easat.co.uk

The antennas manufactured by Easat are designed for high performance coastal surveillance where security is the main criteria and detection at maximum ranges of very small targets is required. Typically, the targets that are likely to be perceived as a threat are only in the order of 1-2m² RCS (radar cross section).

Detection of these targets particularly in poor weather requires a high performance antenna with high gain and narrow beamwidth. High gain allows not only more energy on the target, but importantly the use of the very shortest pulse length which improved the range discrimination.
